Italy it is.

Life is funny. One minute you're laying on the couch watching another episode of Storage Wars, secretly wondering where the storage units in Chicago are that have auctions you could attend, impatiently waiting  for the Wing Stop man to deliver, and the next minute you're contemplating flying into Florence or Rome. Don't you just love when life hands you that "want to come stay in our villa in Italy with us for a week" card? I do.

That card's name is the Godbout/Zach&Tye family. Or I guess "familia" as the Italians say. Long story short, Tyeler texted me yesterday and casually asked if Chris and I, and my parents would like to join her familia in Tuscany for a week or two in a little villa tucked away in the countryside of Tuscany. Naturally I responded "yes."

And much to my surprise my mom is booking the flights today. So if all goes accordingly, in about five short weeks we'll all be sipping wine in the hills of Tuscany. I can hardly believe it myself. I feel just like Julia Roberts in that movie I didn't see. Eat, play, drink? Wine tours, wine tasting, cheese eating, village touring, saying Ciao, I can barely contain my excitement.

I've never been to Italy before, but I absolutely love pizza and calamari so I'm sure I will totally love it there. In the meantime, I plan to touch up on my Italian by watching some good old fashioned films about the country of Italy.

I think my winter blues may have just subsided for a while. Hope you're jealous of me. Jk... Jk I do.
