Dear Blog,

We've been together for quite a few years now and yet this is the first letter I've written you. Makes me feel kind of bad considering my history of letter writing... Chelsea Handler, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bill Cosby, Gia from Full House... So you can thank Erin at LivinginYellow for pushing this idea along.

I know we've had a bit of a slow start. But I think it's just because  people are a bit confused by you (us) at first. Some don't get "our humor" per say. Maybe we're a bit "too sarcastic" at times. Occasionally we might make comments that seem a little "too soon." i.e. anything regarding Casey Anthony or Michelle Duggar.

Most of the time people just aren't sure whether we're joking or being serious and I think that scares them. At least that's what teachers have been telling me since about the 3rd grade. But don't beat yourself up about it, you can't please everyone. 

I'll keep coming back as long as you do. And along the way I'll try to pick up some pointers to fancy you up a bit. I know all of those other prettier blogs sometimes get to you. Formatting and color schemes just aren't my thing. In the meantime do what I do, bathe yourself in bronzer and keep out of bright lights. It will fool anyone into thinking you're good looking.


Good chat, this was fun. Let's do it again sometime. Preferably not on a Friday though, it's kind of cut into my drinking time.
