I am beyond elated with the entries for the giveaway thus far.
So thank you for that.
And can we all just agree that Mildred And Bernice is such an amazing
and incredibly unique jewelry line?
Glad you think so too. In case you don't want to wait until the winner is announced maybe you
should just order from her store today. Just a thought.
Anyway,
this morning I find myself in lovely Milwaukee, Wisconsin sitting in the cutest
Starbucks that overlooks a wonderful little ice skating rink.
There's no ice in it yet, but soon, especially up here in Wisconsin.
Note to self: always have a job that allows for two hour Starbucks breaks in the morning.
I've decided to link up with Erin today for her "I Believe" segment.
I think this a great idea for a link up.
Because I believe in a lot of stuff.
First of all,
I believe in the power of The Secret.
Strike that, first of all is that actually I believe in our Lord Baby Jesus Christ Romney.
I'm just not one to talk about religion in public.
I prefer to talk to Him in private.
And I'm talking about both Jesus and Mitt Romney.
Back to The Secret though.
It changed my life. If you haven't read it, you should.
Basically it's just about the power of believing in positive thinking.
I'm big on this one, it's right along the lines with the fact
I believe we create our own destiny.
Look at your life right now, where you are, who surrounds you, what you're doing,
you've created that.
Ever heard of the saying, you are what you think.
I pretty much live by this one.
You know those people who always say,
"nothing good ever comes my way," or "I never win at anything" or "this would happen to me."
I say the exact opposite things. Try it sometime, it makes life much more enjoyable.
Unless of course you like keeping your Facebook status negative 24/7,
in that case I totally understand. I hope it's working out for you.
My other life motto is
Ask. Believe. Receive.
I've clearly had too much coffee this morning, because that shit started to get a little too deep.
Let me lighten it up.
I believe in the power of a great purse.
Three years ago my mom bought me this Louis...
And three years later, I still love it. And it's lasted longer than other other cheapo purse.
Is it superficial to love a purse? Absolutely.
I believe Thursday is the best day of the week.
By Friday I'm a bit hungover. By Saturday I'm dreading Monday. And by Sunday it's already Monday.
I believe boys just deal with shit a lot better than {most} girls.
They don't bicker. They're not conniving. They don't stress about dishes left out.
They don't wonder "did I lock the door?"
"Do I look fat?"
"Is she mad at me?"
"Why didn't you text me back?"
It took me three years to figure out that when I text Chris "Good Morning!"
and he doesn't text back it's not because he's mad or grumpy or pissy.
He just didn't respond.
But it still drives me nuts.
I believe if Jon Benet were still alive she'd be so disappointed with Honey Boo Boo Child.
Or extremely jealous.
I believe 95% of Hollywood actors are homosexual.
And that's fine! Just come out already so young gay people stop hating themselves.
Ibelieve know anyone who doesn't blog truly has no idea how random/bizzare/fun the bloggy world is.
I also believe any blogger who says they don't care about followers is lying...
Then again, you're also probably the type who says
"I just can't gain weight."
Ewww. Get out.
I don't believe in 12/21/2012. But I do believe it still scares the shit out of me.
So please feel free to leave me 1000 comments reassuring me nothing is going to happen.
Right, RIGHT?
I believe you should check out some of my new {cheap} ad spots I just added....
$5 dolla make ya holla.
And now I believe this has been a ramble and I need to get ready for my appointment.
Do you know what it's like to have a Justin Bieber moment?
I do.
In about one hour I'll have 400 screaming fans all under the age of ten watching my every move.
By the end of my presentation I could tell them to do anything, and they'd do it.
I could say burn down your school
and I'm pretty sure they would as long as I promised them a light-up pencil at the end.
Perhaps I'll talk more about my job tomorrow. Perhaps not ...
