always. sometimes. never.

Unless you've been living in a hole,
you might have noticed NFL games started last night.
note to self: never say that line to Jaycee Duggard.
Since moving to Chicago, I've become a big Bears fan.
And by "big" I mean I can name at least three players,
and sometimes I even put my phone down and really try to pay attention to the games.
But most of all I just like the Bears colors.
Navy and orange just looks so retrochic football to me.
But just for the record I'd like to state my favorite NFL player is still #88 Zach Potter from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

But more importantly than the NFL starting last night,
Fantasy Football started as well.
Which brings me to this weeks edition of always. sometimes. never.
Again, hooking up with
Brie and this Ellen for our fun little link up.

Chris always likes to give me crap for my abundant knowledge/interest regarding celebrities.
Perhaps, I do sometimes speak like I know Blake or Leo or ScarJo or Emma.
And I might read a few too many gossip magazines...
But you know what I never do? Meet with other people to plan out and discuss (in depth)
 this fantasy world of mine.

Fantasy Football is just the most bizarre concept to me ever.
Isn't it just a way for boys to "play house?"
They pretend they own NFL teams, and they own players,
and they make trades and they say things like
"I got the best team ever this draft"
and
"I just can't have Marcus Miller get hurt or I'm screwed."
But it's all make believe.

Yet Fantasy Football is a million dollar industry.
It's because of this, that I want to start my own fantasy league.
It will be called Fantasy Celebrity, and obviously will be more directed toward girls.
And we will have our own draft where we get to bid on our favorite celebs.
Each week they will be graded on a point system, I'm thinking something like this:
5 points: spotted in US magazine
10 points: new movie release
20 points: pregnant/engaged
-10 points: DUI
-20 points: Rehab/Joined Scientology
-30 points: dating John Mayer.

And then we can finally legitimize why we say things like
"I am so excited Emma Stone is engaged!"
or
"I'm just so sad Taylor Swift is in rehab."
{which I would never say because I loathe that girl.)
but let's start the rumor she's in rehab.

Who's with me on this? Let's get our leagues going ASAP.
And I just realized I forget to do always. sometimes. never. for that rant.
But that's it. I have to go get my draft started.
